How Can I Help? There are thousands of families and individuals in Placer County who cannot afford to meet their basic nutritional needs. When you donate food, money, or time to the Placer Food Bank, you ensure a single mother can feed her child, a local senior citizen is able to receive a bag full of groceries, or that a child can enjoy a nutritious meal.

Donate Food

Volunteering

Event Sponsorship

When you organize a food or fund drive in you workplace, congregation or community group, you can rest assured that your contribution is dedicated to immediate use in our community. We can assist your organization to hold an event to benefit the Food Bank, either through food or monetary donations. Vehicle Donations

Thank you for considering a Vehicle/Property Donation to the Placer County Food Bank. This opportunity is a "vehicle" for you to make a difference in the lives of Placer County’s local less fortunate.

The Placer Food Bank is a Non-Profit California Corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 Exempt Organization. The Placer Food Bank’s Tax Identification Number is 94-1743016.

 
During 2009, the Food Bank served over 55 agencies throughout Placer, Nevada and El Dorado Counties, distributing over 4 million pounds of food, and serving approximately 45,000 families each month.
