How Can I Help? There are thousands of families and individuals in Placer County who cannot afford to meet their basic nutritional needs. When you donate food, money, or time to the Placer Food Bank, you ensure a single mother can feed her child, a local senior citizen is able to receive a bag full of groceries, or that a child can enjoy a nutritious meal. The Virtual Food Drive is the perfect answer, allowing you to shop, click, and donate funds for food and on-going operations of the Placer Food Bank right from your computer. Click here. Donate Food Every food donation helps in the fight against hunger throughout Placer County. We gladly accept both perishable and non-perishable food donations. Volunteering The Food Bank is in need of a variety of volunteers to assist us in our mission to eliminate hunger and provide for the less fortunate of Placer County. Event Sponsorship When you organize a food or fund drive in you workplace, congregation or community group, you can rest assured that your contribution is dedicated to immediate use in our community.
